Music Fluency Sequence
The Greenhouse Music Fluency sequence uses time-tested exercises in rhythm, singing, and dictation to deepen the way musicians interact with music. We remove the ego from the music-making process while empowering musicians to trust themselves and their instincts, placing an emphasis on the universality of raw technique. Musicians that complete any part of this sequence will quickly notice changes in following areas: the accuracy and speed at which they process notated music, the ability to cultivate a visceral relationship with pitch and key areas independent of theoretical knowledge, and their ability to more thoroughly understand what they're hearing in music. Our Music Fluency courses place a strong emphasis on rhythm, which we believe comprises at least 70% of a musician's consciousness. Most importantly, we believe that music technique is universal, existing independently from style and genre. As such, our Music Fluency sequence prepares musicians to engage with any kind of music, even something they have not studied before.
